American Spoon, a 35-year-old artisanal fruit preserve and condiment company, approached us to update their existing headquarters and manufacturing facility. They wanted their space to reflect the values found in the traditional, small-batch local farm harvest food products they produce. We created a design that provides an inviting space for visitors and staff, balancing a crisp, modern sensibility with natural warm textures. By adding windows to key areas and introducing a mostly white color palette, we were able to not only capture the natural light in frequently used workspaces, but complement the orientation of the sun and natural surroundings, tying their earthy, artisan brand identity into something thoughtful and fresh.
