This new construction, single-family home is located within Leland’s downtown neighborhood. The home was built as a home base for a family of five with college-aged children. It is an efficient and streamlined three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath, with a restrained material palette. A concrete floor joins every space of the house together. White drywall and subway tile contrast the warm reclaimed-wood kitchen cabinetry. A uniform placement of windows along the north and east walls offer light and cross-ventilation plus large spaces in-between for the homeowner’s art collection. A large window wall on the south and west facades open onto a gravel courtyard and flood the home with natural light all year round.
