For this stonemasons workshop and showroom, we repurposed and renovated an abandoned self-serve car wash and oil change facility. The functional overhaul consisted of bringing the building up to code, turning car wash bays into stone-cutting rooms, adding an employee break room and office, and transforming the oil change building into a new showroom. Aesthetic updates consisted of turning these two utilitarian buildings into something with the rural charm of a farm building. Board and batten siding, metal roof and decorative cupolas achieved this feat. As time goes on, the stonemason will add his own unique stone veneer touches to the building.
