A beautiful historic home in Traverse City’s Boardman Neighborhood Historic District was renovated to create a cohesive aesthetic after many previous renovations created closed rooms, little natural light, poor circulation and a mish- mash of materials. The traditional historic exterior and interior elements were preserved when possible and appropriate. The space blends modern aesthetics of the client’s and traditional aesthetics of the home.
